“Tazza 4: The Song of Beelzebub” Goes Global — And Bloody — In New Stills

Six years after the last chapter, Korea’s most notorious gambling franchise is back. “Tazza 4: The Song of Beelzebub” has released a fresh batch of stills, and they promise a story that’s darker, higher-stakes, and far more international than anything the series has done before.

Starring Byun Yo Han and Roh Jae Won, the film centers on a friendship-turned-rivalry that spirals into a global game of revenge — with new visuals hinting at just how brutal that fallout gets.

From Best Friends to Bitter Rivals

The story follows Jang Tae Young (Byun Yo Han), a man who believed he had it all after building a thriving online casino empire — until his closest friend and business partner, Park Tae Young (Roh Jae Won), takes everything away from him. Jealousy over Jang Tae Young’s success reportedly twists their bond beyond repair, setting the stage for an inevitable showdown when fate throws them back together in the high-stakes world of international gambling.

A Franchise That’s Gone Global

Unlike previous installments, “Tazza 4” expands its scope well beyond South Korea, with the gambling operation stretching into Japan and Vietnam. New stills show major players from each country converging around a single table, betting enormous sums — and Jang Tae Young, once again in the thick of it, puts everything on the line.

One particularly striking image shows him bound and covered head to toe in blood, a stark visual reminder that in this world, the stakes go far beyond money.

Enter Kaneko: The Mastermind Behind It All

A new player enters the picture in the form of Kaneko (Ayaka Miyoshi), the enigmatic architect behind the entire global gambling operation. Stills reveal a tense, wary alliance forming between Kaneko and Park Tae Young — two people with clearly different agendas who nonetheless choose to work together.

One haunting shot shows Kaneko standing alone beside a car in the dead of night, radiating the quiet authority of someone who controls far more than she lets on.

A Lighter Moment Amid the Tension

Not every still leans into high drama. Some images show Kwak Dong Wook (Jo Woo Jin) and Jang Tae Young together in Vietnam, with Kwak sporting a wig inside a car — a small comedic beat that hints at moments of levity woven into the film’s otherwise intense atmosphere.

Why “Tazza” Still Resonates

Since its original release, the Tazza franchise has built a reputation as one of Korea’s most gripping takes on the world of high-stakes gambling and betrayal, drawing loose inspiration from real gambling subcultures the same way many crime dramas draw from the broader world of organized crime narratives. By expanding the story’s scope internationally and introducing a mysterious new mastermind in Kaneko, “The Song of Beelzebub” seems poised to raise the tension even higher than its predecessors. With the September 23 premiere approaching, anticipation is building fast among fans of the franchise. Stay tuned to TechnoSports for more updates as the release date nears.
