There were many exciting announcements at the ER 2021 event and oh buy, there are some interesting and intriguing additions to the world of VR gaming. Upload VR finally made its return to the E3, announcing some interesting titles for VR gaming to look forward to. So let’s look at some of the game’s that we can expect to create their mark in the VR gaming world.
Song in the Smoke
it was announced earlier this year and is a VR survival game and a departure for developer 17-Bit, better known for cartoony indie games like Skulls of the Shogun and Galak-Z. The studio CEO Jake Kazdal explains how VR made him want to create not just a game but a fully living and breathing world. It’s coming out this summer to Oculus Rift and Quest, and PSVR.
Unplugged
Unplugged is the coolest rhythm game available for VR and it’s all about playing air guitar. Thanks to hand-tracking technology on Quest and other supported PC VR, we can enjoy the game in all its awesomeness. The new trailer also shows that you can play The Offspring’s ‘The Kids Aren’t Alright.’
Nerf Ultimate Championship
The ultimate terrific game with its extremely creative guns is back, and it has become even more stylish. Of course, not much info is provided in the trailer but the game has high expectations. It’s an Oculus exclusive coming in 2022.
Sushi Ben VR
For all food lovers out there, this game will have you save your favorite sushi bar from going out of business. But instead of serving up sushi, your task is actually to convince other people to come to eat there. It’s coming in 2022.
A Township Tale
This game will arrive on Oculus Quest on July 15th, it is an open-world RPG designed specifically for VR. In the game, players will take a new identity, whether as a blacksmith, miner, woodcutter, warrior, or archer, in an immersive fantasy world.
