Billboard World Albums Chart: Stray Kids Hold No. 1 as BTS, ATEEZ, aespa Flood the Top 25

K-pop’s dominance on the global charts shows no signs of slowing down. Billboard’s newly published World Albums chart for the week ending August 29 is stacked wall-to-wall with familiar names — and Stray Kids are once again leading the pack.

Billboard World Albums Chart: This Week’s Top Rankings

Stray Kids Keep Their Crown

Stray Kids’ mini album “THIS & THAT” holds firm at No. 1 for a second straight week, and the milestones keep piling up — it’s now the group’s first-ever album to spend multiple consecutive weeks in the top 3 of the Billboard 200. Their 2025 release “KARMA” is still going strong too, clocking a full year on the World Albums chart at No. 25.

CORTIS and ATEEZ Hold Steady at the Top

Right behind them, CORTIS’s “GREENGREEN” sits comfortably at No. 2 for a 16th straight week, also becoming the rookie group’s first album to spend 15 weeks on the Billboard 200 overall — a strong signal of staying power for a relatively new act. Their debut EP “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES” even climbed back up to No. 6 nearly a year after release. Meanwhile, ATEEZ’s “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5” held its No. 3 spot for an eighth consecutive week.

BTS’s Back Catalog Refuses to Quit

Perhaps the most striking detail is BTS landing four separate albums on the chart simultaneously — “Proof,” “Love Yourself: Answer,” “Map of the Soul: 7 ~The Journey~,” and “Love Yourself: Tear” — some of which are well past their 200th week charting. It’s a testament to how deep and enduring the group’s global fanbase remains, even amid individual members’ varied activities.

Rounding Out the Chart

LE SSERAFIM, Yeonjun of TXT, aespa, ILLIT, NewJeans, and BOYNEXTDOOR all secured spots as well, proving just how competitive — and crowded — the current K-pop comeback season has become.
