Some K-drama sequels tease a reunion. This one teases a reckoning. Disney+’s “Made in Korea 2” just dropped new stills, and the tension between its three leads — Hyun Bin, Jung Woo Sung, and Woo Do Hwan — already jumps off the screen.

Made In Korea 2: Picking Up Nine Years Later

Season 1 followed Baek Ki Tae (Hyun Bin), a man consumed by ambition, and prosecutor Jang Geon Young (Jung Woo Sung), who gave up everything to bring him down, as their conflict collided with a defining moment of 1970s Korea.

Season 2 fast-forwards nine years. Baek Ki Tae now sits at the peak of his power. Jang Geon Young has spent the years quietly building his counterattack. And Baek Ki Hyun (Woo Do Hwan), Ki Tae’s younger brother, is charting his own path to power — one that doesn’t necessarily run through his sibling.

What the New Stills Reveal

The freshly released images capture a household on the edge of collapse:

Character	Actor	Position in the Story
Baek Ki Tae	Hyun Bin	Ruthless power player at his peak, blindsided by Jang Geon Young’s return
Jang Geon Young	Jung Woo Sung	Resurfaces after nine years for an all-out reckoning
Baek Ki Hyun	Woo Do Hwan	Caught between loyalty to his brother and a fragile new alliance

One still shows Baek Ki Tae’s guarded, unsettled reaction to seeing his old rival again. Another catches the brothers locking eyes in open defiance. A third hints at something even more explosive — Jang Geon Young and Baek Ki Hyun cautiously testing whether they can trust each other, despite everything standing between them.

Hyun Bin has spoken about how his character’s bond with his younger brother turns complicated once Ki Hyun starts pulling away from his control. Woo Do Hwan, meanwhile, has said he approached his character with real empathy, aiming to make his choices feel understandable rather than simply calculated. Jung Woo Sung has described his character as someone quietly working his way into a new power structure, driven purely by the need to take Baek Ki Tae down.
