A Changing Of The Guard Behind The Desk
The episode wasn’t just about the win — it also marked the final day as MCs for AND2BLE’s Kim Gyuvin and TWS’s Dohoon, adding a bittersweet note to an otherwise celebratory broadcast.
Who Else Performed
The stage was packed with comebacks and special performances, including ENHYPEN’s “Bloody Paradise,” OURBIRTHDAY’s “SQUEEZY,” KISS OF LIFE’s “WHAT!,” OH MY GIRL’s Mimi with “Bish Bash Bosh,” and Wonho’s “Answer.” Rookie and indie acts also got their moment, with ONEWE, ASTRO’s MJ, Mashiro, ODD YOUTH, and several others rounding out the lineup.
Why This Win Matters
Beating both Stray Kids and KiiiKiii in the same week says a lot about the strength of ATEEZ’s comeback momentum with “BAD.” Five wins for a single title puts the song firmly among the year’s most dominant tracks on music shows, reinforcing the group’s consistency in an era when comeback windows are shorter and competition from rookie and veteran acts alike is fiercer than ever.
