KBS 2TV’s new romance drama “Love on the Menu” is turning up the emotional heat, and the latest preview stills suggest nobody’s getting a clean happy ending anytime soon. The show follows Kim Moo Jin (Ha Seok Jin) and Han Gyu Rim (played by former EXID member Hani), two exes who reunite eight years after a painful split and slowly rebuild their broken families around the dinner table.

Guilt, Gratitude, and Unexpected Butterflies
In the previous episode, Moo Jin was blindsided to learn Gyu Rim never married, and coldly told her they should never cross paths again. Now, new stills show him staying by an injured Seo Hyun’s bedside, wrestling with guilt as he recognizes his own past mirrored in her decades-long unrequited love.

Meanwhile, Gyu Rim finds herself touched by Heung Sik’s selflessness, even as he nurses his own injuries. Elsewhere, Ok Sun’s frosty first impression of Seok Joong begins to thaw after he rescues her from a crisis — hinting at a slow-burn subplot brewing alongside the main romance.
The production team teased that each character is beginning to see one another differently through these unexpected moments, promising a mix of guilt, gratitude, and butterflies as the story unfolds.
The next episode airs August 16 at 8 p.m. KST on KBS 2TV, with previous episodes streaming on Viki.
