The Wedding Everyone’s Been Waiting For
The headline news out of Disney’s D23 event: Anna and Kristoff are finally getting married. Bell and Menzel confirmed the royal wedding storyline, hinting the celebration won’t go entirely smoothly — Anna and Elsa are reportedly gearing up for “their biggest journey yet.”
A New Threat and a New Romance
Details on the film’s antagonist remain under wraps, but the villain is expected to throw the wedding into disarray, pulling the sisters into another adventure. Meanwhile, Olaf gets his own subplot: a love interest named Samantha, adding a lighter, playful thread to the story.
The franchise traces back to the original Frozen (2013), inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Snow Queen,” which went on to become one of the highest-grossing animated films ever made. Disney has also confirmed a fourth Frozen film is already in development.
