She’s traded the Upside Down for a glitchy meet-cute. Millie Bobby Brown, best known for Stranger Things, is headed to Netflix in an entirely new genre with Just Picture It — and the streamer just dropped first-look images alongside a confirmed 2027 release window.
What’s the Premise?
Two carefree college students are stunned when their phones glitch and start showing pictures from ten years in the future — where they’re a happily married couple with kids. The catch? They haven’t even met yet. It’s a fresh, tech-driven twist on the classic rom-com meet-cute formula.
The newly released stills show Brown at a lively party in a red dress and cowboy hat, alongside co-star Gabriel LaBelle (The Fabelmans), smiling across a crowded room.

Who’s Behind the Camera?
Director Lee Toland Krieger brings serious romance-genre chops, having previously directed The Age of Adaline along with episodes of Shadow and Bone and You. Several Stranger Things alumni also worked behind the scenes, including cinematographer Tim Ives and costume designer Amy Parris — a nice full-circle touch for Brown’s Netflix journey.
Stacked Supporting Cast
Joining Brown and LaBelle is a loaded ensemble: Amrit Kaur, Julian Dennison, Idina Menzel, Margo Martindale, Brec Bassinger, Anthony Keyvan, and Ben Jackson Walker. Filming wrapped in Atlanta, Decatur, and Norcross, Georgia, between September and October 2025.
Why It Matters
This marks another major swing for Brown’s PCMA Productions banner, further cementing her as one of Netflix’s most bankable stars beyond Stranger Things. A tech-flavored rom-com with this level of production talent could easily become a genre standout when it lands.
