“Sixth Sense” Is Back With A New Cast And A Whole New Name

The show that turned spotting a liar into a national obsession is returning — and this time, it’s picking a fresh batch of hotspots to mess with your instincts.

tvN’s “Sixth Sense” has officially announced its comeback with a new season titled “Sixth Sense: Bside,” dropping its first teaser on August 14. The format stays true to what made the original a hit: the cast visits viral, trend-heavy destinations and must use sharp instincts and teamwork to spot the one fake planted among real people or places.

Who’s Joining The New Season

The lineup blends familiar faces with fresh energy. Yu Jae Seok and Ko Kyung Pyo return as original cast members, bringing continuity to the show’s comedic chemistry. Song Eun Yi makes a comeback after stepping away, and BIBI joins the cast for the first time, adding a new dynamic to the group.

Sixth Sense: Overview

Why “Sixth Sense” Keeps Working

Part of the show’s appeal lies in its simple but endlessly replayable premise: send a group of sharp personalities into unfamiliar, buzzy environments and force them to rely on observation and instinct rather than prior knowledge. It’s a structure that borrows heavily from classic deduction-based entertainment, similar in spirit to the broader appeal of the mystery genre, where the fun lies in piecing together clues alongside the participants.

Adding BIBI to the mix signals the show’s intent to keep its energy unpredictable, while the return of Song Eun Yi should please longtime fans who’ve followed the franchise since its earlier seasons.
