Some announcements feel more personal than a press release, and actress Moon Geun Young chose exactly that path. She’s officially married, and she wanted her fans to hear it from her, in her own words.

How the News Broke

On July 29, a media outlet first reported that Moon Geun Young had married musical actor Jung Pyeong, her longtime partner. Her agency confirmed it, noting she recently got married and skipped a formal wedding ceremony, opting instead for a quiet family meal. soompi

A Letter From the Heart

Rather than let the news travel secondhand, Moon Geun Young posted a handwritten letter on her own social media. In it, she shared that she’d found someone to walk life’s road with instead of alone, someone to share her worries and everyday joys with. She asked fans for congratulations rather than concern, promising to keep working hard and to return to them as an even better version of herself.
