Just when things were going smoothly for K-drama’s newest favorite couple, fate had other plans. New stills from tvN’s “See You at Work Tomorrow!” show Seo In Guk and Park Ji Hyun enjoying a casual public date — right before an unexpected run-in threatens to blow their cover.

Quick recap for anyone catching up: In the previous episode, Kang Si Woo (Seo In Guk) finally admitted that every kind gesture toward Cha Ji Yoon (Park Ji Hyun) was rooted in romantic feelings, not just professional courtesy. Ji Yoon, in turn, asked him to stay by her side instead of leaving for the U.S. The two shared their first kiss, officially kicking off a secret office romance.

The newly released stills pick up with the couple stepping out for a low-key date — casual outfits, hand-holding, the works. For a moment, they look like any ordinary couple enjoying their day.

That moment doesn’t last. The next batch of images shows both of them visibly panicked after apparently spotting someone unexpected. Ji Yoon is seen crouching behind a store display in a full-on stealth mode, while Si Woo can’t help but smile at his girlfriend’s dramatic reaction. Naturally, fans are already speculating about who they ran into — and how much trouble it might cause for their still-secret relationship.
