100 Bodies, One Netflix Winner: France Joins The Physical Arena

Netflix France has officially greenlit its own adaptation of Physical: 100, the hit South Korean survival competition that’s already spawned Italian, Mexican, Swedish, and American spin-offs. Produced by Adventure Line Productions — the studio behind France’s “Koh-Lanta” and “Fort Boyard” — the French version pits 100 athletes and personalities against each other in brutal physical challenges for a €200,000 prize.

The Format, Explained

The premise stays true to the original: 100 competitors from wildly different sporting backgrounds — martial arts, bodybuilding, CrossFit, rugby, athletics — take on “XXL Quests” testing endurance, stamina, strength, and agility, either solo or in teams. One by one, competitors get eliminated until a single winner is crowned the fittest of the field.

Meet Netflix The First Competitors

The initial lineup blends social media stars with elite athletes. On the content-creator side, fitness YouTuber Tibo InShape brings one of France’s largest fitness followings, while combat-sports creator IbraTV — a two-time “Ninja Warrior” competitor — adds serious athletic credibility. They’re joined by streamers LeBouseuh, Brawks, DaEtienne, and urban climbing specialist Alexis Landot.

The athlete roster is stacked with genuine sporting royalty: MMA champion Francis Ngannou, PFL fighter Cédric Doumbè, judo champions Romane Dicko and Amandine Buchard, sprinter Christophe Lemaître, tennis player Benoît Paire, and Olympic boxing medalist Estelle Moussely all feature among the confirmed names.

Rounding things out, rappers and actors including Hatik (known for the 2024 miniseries “Anthracite”), Bosh, and Jean Gab’1 bring pop-culture star power to the competition floor.
