Exciting news for CARATs everywhere — SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan and Joshua are officially teaming up for a brand-new unit! On July 6, Xportsnews first reported that the duo will make their unit debut this October, and PLEDIS Entertainment has since confirmed the news, telling Dispatch that the pair are actively preparing with October as their target debut month.

SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan

Detail	Info
Unit Members	Jeonghan & Joshua
Group	SEVENTEEN
Agency	PLEDIS Entertainment
Target Debut	October 2026
Jeonghan’s Discharge Date	June 25, 2026
Previous SEVENTEEN Units	JxW, HxW, CxM, DxS, V8

This marks the sixth sub-unit to emerge from SEVENTEEN’s ongoing series of member pairings, following the successful debuts of JxW (Jeonghan X Wonwoo), HxW (Hoshi X Woozi), CxM (S.Coups X Mingyu), DxS (DK X Seungkwan), and V8 (Vernon and The8). The group’s unit strategy has consistently given fans a chance to see different member chemistries and musical styles beyond full group releases.

The timing feels especially meaningful for Jeonghan, who was just discharged from mandatory military service on June 25, after being the very first SEVENTEEN member to enlist back in September 2024. His return, paired with this fresh unit announcement, is giving fans plenty to celebrate this summer.

While waiting for more details, fans can catch both members together on “NANA TOUR with SEVENTEEN,” now streaming on Viki.

SEVENTEEN’s unit system reflects a broader trend in K-pop group structures, where sub-units allow idols to explore diverse concepts while keeping the full group’s identity intact.
