Peddi on Netflix: Ram Charan & Janhvi Kapoor’s Cricket-Action Drama Streaming From July 16, 2026

You’ve been waiting for this moment. After dominating cinema halls since June, Ram Charan’s buzzworthy sports action drama Peddi is finally heading to your couch—and it’s coming to Netflix on July 16, 2026. If you missed the theatrical release, here’s your golden chance to experience what everyone’s been talking about.

What’s Peddi Actually About?

Peddi tells the compelling story of a talented cricketer-for-hire who plays for anyone willing to pay. But when he meets the sarpanch’s daughter Achiyamma and gets inspired by a villager named Appalasuri (who’s been fighting for his village’s railway recognition for years), everything changes. Our hero transforms from a money-hungry player into a dedicated sportsman on a noble mission—blending cricket, action, and heart like never before.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and featuring an ensemble cast including Shiva Rajkumar, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani, this isn’t your typical sports flick. According to sports cinema storytelling tradition, films that blend personal redemption with community cause create deeper emotional resonance—and Peddi delivers exactly that.
