New affordable NV1 NVMe SSDs by Kingston launched in India

Launched globally back at the end of March this year, Kingston has finally launched its new affordable NV1 NVMe SSDs in India. Coming with up to 2 TB capacities & 2100 MB/s read speeds, these NVMe SSDs are great for budget PC enthusiasts looking to upgrade to a faster NVMe SSD solution.

It will be available in 500 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB capacities with a limited 3-year warranty. Now, giving up to theoretical maximum read and write rates of 2100 MB/s and 1700 MB/s, respectively. It is slower compared to 2000 MB/s and 2500 MB/s on the pricier 500 GB A2000 and KC2500, respectively.

This is the reason why it falls in the budget line of NVMe SSDs and gives a lot of people a good option to store more at around 1700MB/s write speeds, much better than a SATA-based SSD, also backed by a limited three-year warranty.

“Kingston is pleased to announce the next entry-level offering in its NVMe PCIe SSD product family to meet the needs of our discerning users in India,” said Mr. Tejashwar Singh, India Sales Head, Kingston Technology. “Whether users are upgrading a system or planning a new build, NV1 is designed for speed and dependability at an affordable price. Going ahead as well, we will be bringing compelling products for our users and take ahead our credo of ‘Kingston Is With You’ to the next level.”
