Isakapatnam Trailer: When a Daughter Challenges Her Own Father for Power, an Entire Town Trembles

There’s something uniquely gripping about a power struggle that starts at the dinner table. Isakapatnam, the upcoming Telugu crime drama web series, takes that premise and blows it up to the scale of a full-blown town war — and the new trailer makes it clear this is one Prime Video release you don’t want to sleep on.

What Is Isakapatnam About?

Set in a fictional port town ruled by power and blood ties, Isakapatnam is a high-stakes crime drama premiering on July 2, 2026, with seven episodes that promise an intense story where family loyalties collide with ambition, triggering a conflict that could change the fate of an entire town.

At the centre is Naidu, played by Samuthirakani — a powerful man who controls commerce in the region and is confident he has every rival under his watch. His greatest challenge, however, comes from within his own home: his daughter Bharati, portrayed by Aishwarya Rajesh, who refuses to be shaped by the world of power surrounding her and takes matters into her own hands.

This father-versus-daughter dynamic is exactly the kind of layered conflict that crime drama as a genre thrives on — and these two actors are perfectly cast to deliver it.

Isakapatnam Series : Overview

The Story Underneath the Power Play

The series paints a vivid picture of a town consumed by rivalries, personal vendettas, and deep-rooted family feuds. As loyalties shift and ambitions grow stronger, the escalating tensions between father and daughter become the catalyst for a larger battle with far-reaching consequences.

What makes this particularly exciting is the casting against type — Samuthirakani, known for playing morally grounded characters, now steps into the shoes of a ruthless power broker, while Aishwarya Rajesh brings her trademark fierce energy to a role that demands both vulnerability and steel.
