Oppo ventured into the smartphone market a few years back and almost immediately made its presence felt as it ate into the market share of fellow competitor Xiaomi adapting an offline store strategy. At that point, Xiaomi made the majority of its sales via online platforms as it was focused on an online sales-only approach.
Oppo, later on, did the same in India as well when they expanded and opened multiple stores, but due to the current COVID 19 situation, it has become hard for customers to venture out into outlets.
In order to make it convenient for the consumer, Oppo has decided to launch a dedicated e-commerce site in India which is expected to feature over 80 models of the smartphone makers devices, premium, and budget models. It will also feature their other products such as wearables.
The Oppo e-store is offering free shipping and delivery to all products over 499 INR, they have also partnered up with Kotak Mahindra Bank, Standard Chartered, HDFC Bank, and Bajaj FinServ to offer no-cost EMI’s. They have brought offers on various smartphones of theirs which are exclusive to their site.
Some of the attractive offers that Oppo is presenting are offering customers a discount of 1000 INR upon purchasing the Oppo Reno 5 Pro (8GB+128GB) or Oppo F19 (6GB+128GB) along with the Oppo Enco W31 buds. There is also a discount of 700 INR on the purchase of the Oppo A15 or Oppo F17 Pro along with their Enco W31 buds.
Other offers involve a 1 rupee flash deal on some of their wearables and consumers will also be able to take part in a spin to win its challenges with incentives. Oppo is ensuring that all payment options from COD to EMI and card/wallet to net banking are all accepted. Shipping might be delayed due to the COVID 19 lockdown.
