Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh Announce New Projects for 2026

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are still setting the standard for power couples in Indian cinema as they juggle their personal and professional lives in 2026. After welcoming their daughter, Dua Padukone Singh, on September 8, 2024, the stars have been a bit choosy about appearing on screen.

While there’s buzz about a potential new project together, as of June 2026, there’s been no official word from them yet.

Their collaboration has been a key part of modern Bollywood, especially in movies directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. They first enchanted audiences in the 2013 film Ram-Leela, and followed up with the epic tales Bajirao Mastani (2015) and Padmaavat (2018).

Speaking of Padmaavat, produced by Bhansali Productions and Viacom18 Motion Pictures, it turned out to be a massive hit, raking in over ₹585 crore worldwide. This achievement further cemented their status as A-list stars capable of leading big-budget productions.

On their own, both actors have earned notable accolades that showcase their versatility. Deepika Padukone won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her remarkable performance in the 2015 film Piku, directed by Shoojit Sircar, as reported by VentureBeat AI.

At the same time, Ranveer Singh took home the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his powerful role in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy (2019). These awards highlight their talent in both character-driven dramas and larger-than-life films.

What lies ahead for the couple largely depends on their current projects. Fans are eager for a potential reunion on screen, while the industry watches how they balance parenthood with their busy careers, according to recent coverage by Times of India Entertainment.

We should get more insight into their 2026 plans once their management teams share official updates. The big question remains whether they’ll team up again for a major project or focus on individual creative endeavors.
