Wild Sing Everything You Need to Know — Overview

What Is Wild Sing About?

Wild Sing is a comedy movie that follows the story of TRIANGLE, a once-popular co-ed trio that fell into obscurity after an unfortunate incident. The film depicts their chaotic journey as they attempt to reunite and make a comeback.

Think of it as a love letter to the golden era of K-pop idol groups — the late 90s, when colour-coded outfits, power rappers, and dance machines ruled the stage. Now imagine that era’s most iconic trio trying to recapture the magic after years of being forgotten. Hilarity — and heart — are guaranteed.

Meet the Characters of TRIANGLE

Kang Dong Won plays the group’s “dance machine” Hyun Woo, pulling off an impressive freeze move. Um Tae Goo stars as the charismatic “power rapper” Sang Gu, dominating the stage with intense gestures and commanding presence, while Park Ji Hyun plays the group’s center Do Mi, stealing the spotlight with her confident gaze into the camera after the performance ends.

Three very different personalities, one very chaotic comeback. The chemistry between this trio already looks electric.

The 90s Styling That’s Stealing Hearts

TRIANGLE’s signature red, green, and blue color scheme sees the group sporting hip-hop-inspired street fashion featuring oversized shirts, baseball jerseys, and suspenders — evoking nostalgia for the music scene of that era.

Hyun Woo’s sharp bob haircut with highlights, Sang Gu’s perm hairstyle, and Do Mi’s vibrant primary-color makeup all bring back memories of the group’s fanbase, once nicknamed the “Red-Green-Blue Squad.”

The costume and styling team deserves a standing ovation — every frame looks like it was ripped straight from a 1998 music video.
