Ahn Hyo Seop & Chae Won Bin’s Sold Out on You Signs Off With a Ratings Uptick — A Sweet Send-Off for a Sweet Drama

There’s something quietly satisfying about a drama that ends on an upswing. Sold Out on You, the SBS romantic comedy starring Ahn Hyo Seop and Chae Won Bin, aired its series finale on May 28, 2026 — and the numbers tell a feel-good story of their own.

Sold Out on You : Final Ratings at a Glance

According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode of Sold Out on You scored an average nationwide rating of 2.7 percent, enjoying a modest increase in viewership for its series finale. Meanwhile, Cabbage Your Life held steady, maintaining its average nationwide rating of 1.6 percent from its previous episode.

A ratings rise for a finale might not sound dramatic on paper, but in the current K-drama landscape — where streaming has fragmented traditional TV viewership significantly — finishing on an upswing is a genuine sign that audiences chose to tune in and see the story through to the end. That’s meaningful.\

What Was Sold Out on You About?

The drama is a romantic comedy — a genre Korean television has elevated into an art form — starring Ahn Hyo Seop and Chae Won Bin as its central couple. While the show operated in a competitive timeslot with modest ratings throughout, its finale numbers suggest a loyal, engaged fanbase that stuck around until the very last episode.

Why This Drama Mattered Beyond the Numbers

Here’s the thing about ratings in 2026 — they don’t tell the whole story anymore. A drama with a dedicated following that watches live, discusses each episode online, and creates a genuine sense of community around the characters can be deeply impactful even without blockbuster numbers. Sold Out on You was that kind of show for a lot of people.

Ahn Hyo Seop has proven himself repeatedly as a leading man who can anchor a romantic drama with both charm and emotional depth. Chae Won Bin, meanwhile, is quickly establishing herself as a compelling screen presence with real staying power. Together, they gave viewers a romance worth investing in — and the final-episode ratings uptick confirms the audience felt the same. For more K-drama news and updates, check out TechnoSports.

What’s Next for the Stars?

Fans of Ahn Hyo Seop can watch him in Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy, while Chae Won Bin has the film Yadang: The Snitch available to stream. Both projects are strong showcases of just how versatile these two actors are outside of the rom-com space.

Sold Out on You may be over, but the careers of its stars are very much just getting started.
