What’s the Glimpse About?
Prashanth Neel, the mastermind behind the KGF franchise and Salaar, introduces Jr NTR as Luger — a fierce assassin embedded in a shadowy world of illegal trade and rival criminal organisations. The glimpse is more than four minutes long, visually ambitious, and deliberately different from Neel’s previous high-octane style — suggesting a more layered, character-driven approach this time around.
Anil Kapoor and Biju Menon bring added weight to the supporting cast, while Ravi Basrur, who scored KGF: Chapter 2, handles the background score and songs — raising expectations for the film’s sonic identity significantly.

Fan & Twitter Reactions: The Good, The Critical, and The Hyped
The glimpse sparked a wave of responses across social media. Here’s what fans and netizens had to say:
The excited fans praised Jr NTR’s commanding screen presence, saying he delivered exactly what they were hoping for — complete with birthday wishes for the Tiger from his fanbase.
The cautiously optimistic noted that Prashanth Neel appears to be consciously stepping away from the raw KGF template, attempting something tonally distinct — which some see as a bold creative risk worth respecting.
The critics, however, were vocal too. Some felt the VFX in the glimpse looked underwhelming in parts, and a section of viewers questioned whether Jr NTR’s physicality and look fit the assassin character convincingly. Comparisons to Yash’s iconic KGF avatar and Prabhas in Salaar were inevitably drawn, with some fans feeling Dragon’s visual identity hasn’t quite found its own footing yet.
On balance — the reactions are mixed but electrifying, which is exactly the kind of pre-release buzz that keeps a film in conversation.
