EXCLUSIVE: OPPO Find X9s India Price, Specs, and May 21st Launch Date

OPPO‘s most anticipated mid-flagship of 2026 is almost here. The OPPO Find X9s will officially launch in India on May 21, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST, and in an exclusive reveal, the device is priced at ₹79,999. Both the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s will go on sale via Amazon India, Flipkart, and the OPPO India website, with pre-reservations already open.

For context, the Find X9s slots directly below the Find X9 Pro in OPPO’s lineup — and at ₹79,999, it is competing squarely against the OnePlus 13R, Samsung Galaxy S25, and the recently price-hiked OnePlus 15.

The Numbers That Matter Most

A 7,025mAh Battery at 7.99mm — That Is the Story

A 7,025mAh battery in a 7.99mm body with a proper Hasselblad-tuned triple camera system is a specific combination nobody else is offering at this price. Most phones with batteries above 6,000mAh bulk out significantly — the Find X9s manages that capacity while staying thinner than the iPhone 17 Pro. That is a genuine engineering achievement.

With 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging, a dead phone hits meaningful usage percentages in under 30 minutes — a combination that makes the X9s one of the most practical all-day devices in its category.

Triple 50MP Camera System With a Periscope

A uniform 50MP resolution across all three rear cameras — main, ultrawide, and 3x periscope telephoto — is unusual and welcome. Most phones in this range cut corners on the ultrawide sensor. The main shooter gets OIS, the periscope delivers optical zoom without digital reconstruction degradation, and all three are part of OPPO’s advanced imaging technology backed by Hasselblad tuning.

Dimensity 9500s — What Is the ‘s’ Variant?

The Dimensity 9500s is a refined, efficiency-tuned variant of the Dimensity 9500 that powers the standard Find X9. The Find X9s is designed as a compact flagship that sits just below the Find X9, positioned to compete in the ₹70,000–₹85,000 bracket. The ‘s’ suffix typically brings improved thermal management and sustained performance rather than raw clock speed gains — relevant for a phone with a large battery that is meant to last two full days.

IP68 + IP69 — Both Standards Together

IP68 covers sustained submersion. IP69 covers high-pressure, high-temperature water jets — the standard typically found on industrial equipment. Very few consumer smartphones carry both ratings simultaneously. For Indian buyers dealing with monsoon season, this dual certification is more than a spec sheet flex.

How It Compares at ₹79,999

At the same price as the recently hiked OnePlus 15, the Find X9s delivers a larger battery, a more versatile triple-camera system, dual IP ratings, and Android 16 out of the box. The tradeoff is the Snapdragon vs Dimensity debate — which matters far less in real-world usage than benchmark warriors suggest.

Pre-Reservation and Availability

OPPO India has opened Privilege Packs ahead of the May 21 launch, available on the OPPO India website. The Find X9s Privilege Pack includes the Enco Air5 Pro earbuds, an Aramid Fiber Magnetic Case, and an SUPERVOOC 80W Power Adapter.

The phone goes on sale May 21 at 12 PM IST on Amazon India, Flipkart, and oppo.com/in.

The Bottom Line

At ₹79,999, the OPPO Find X9s brings a combination — 7,025mAh battery, uniform 50MP triple cameras, IP68+IP69, 7.99mm chassis, Android 16 — that no direct competitor has assembled at this price point. If battery life and camera versatility are your top priorities in a 2026 flagship, the Find X9s just became the most compelling option in its bracket.
