Asus had teased the launch of its upcoming ZenFone 8 series smartphones on May 12 and from then the company has dropped a few more hints regarding the upcoming smartphone with the help of few illustrative poster images.
Last time the company has posted some images revealing the smooth display of the smartphone as well as the Snapdragon 888 chipset that will be featured in the series. Now the company has also shared some more posters revealing additional information about the smartphone series.
The recent reports claim that Asus ZenFone 8 series smartphones will have a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack and the phone will come with an IP68 protection rating. This time the company is asking “How many headphone jacks can you fit into a phone?” This might hint at something special about its headphone jack.
The Asus Zenfone 8 Pro has also been spotted in the BIS Certification, and so the Indian launch might happen soon after the global launch. The company has not officially claimed anything regarding the launch. The model number in the BIS Certifications of the Pro version is ASUS_I007D.
One of these smartphones has been spotted in the Geekbench listing. The listing reveals that the listed device will be powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with 8GB RAM. The phone seems to run on Android 11. Nothing more has been revealed. The Geekbench listing also shows single and multi-core scores of the device. The model number of this device is ASUS_IOO4D and it has a single-core score of 1124 and a multi-core score of 3669.
