Buendia told the club’s website: ‘It’s been a nice season for me and the whole team,’

‘When you get relegated in a difficult season like it was, the comeback has been amazing for the whole team. The spirit in the team during the whole season is amazing. To get promoted again in the way we did it is something incredible.’

‘When you get the confidence like I’ve felt this year from the club, the staff and my teammates, I can make the difference,’ added the Argentinian, who joined Norwich from Getafe in Spain for Β£1.35m in 2018.’

‘I try to be close to the ball and score more compared to last year, but I always try to give an assist. I’m pretty happy with my numbers and stats because it means I can help the team to get the title.’

What a night! πŸ†
