If you’ve been scrolling through Netflix looking for a K-Drama that hits differently — one that blends revenge, ambition, romance, and raw grit — Itaewon Class is exactly what you’ve been missing. But before you hit play, here’s everything you need to know, including Itaewon Class total episodes, the full cast, and the complete episode release schedule.

What Is Itaewon Class?

Itaewon Class is a Korean drama based on the hit webtoon of the same name by Gwang Jin. The series was also written by Jin for television and directed by Kim Sung-Yoon, who previously helmed popular K-Dramas such as Love in the Moonlight and Discovery of Love.

The story is deeply personal and quietly explosive. After a tragic accident caused by the son of a powerful food industry CEO kills his father, Park Sae-Roy lands in prison. Upon release, he opens a small bar-restaurant in the vibrant neighbourhood of Itaewon, Seoul, fuelled by a singular desire — revenge against the Jang family and their giant restaurant empire.

It’s the kind of underdog story that makes you want to root for someone with every fibre of your being.
