Tecno launched the Spark 6 last year and now has unveiled the successor of that device, Tecno Spark 7. It is another addition to their budget smartphones and they aim to increase their sales via generating more interest in the Indian smartphone market.
Tecno Spark 7 flaunts a 6.53-inch HD+ IPS LCD display and comes with a screen resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels. The smartphone’s 2 GB RAM model is powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio A20 mobile processor whereas the 3 GB RAM variant has an octa-core MediaTek Helio A25 chipset. It runs on the latest Android 11 OS that is overlaid with HiOS 7.5 UI. The storage can be expandable up to 256 GB via a microSD card.
In terms of optics, the handset offers a dual rear camera setup which has a 16 MP primary sensor that is powered by an AI lens. It also has a LED flash. On the rear side of the device, a fingerprint sensor is also present. For selfies and video chats, you will be offered an 8 MP selfie snapper at the front.
Talking about the battery, the smartphone is packed with a massive 6,000 mAh lithium-polymer battery cell and is paired with a 10W charging support. This means that it has a standby time of 30 days. Connectivity options of Tecno Spark 7 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS / A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Tecno Spark 7 will be presented in three colours Magnet Black, Morpheus Blue, and Spruce Green and the sale starts on 16th April in India. As said above, the smartphone comes in two variants. The 2 GB RAM + 32 GB storage is priced at Rs 6,999 or $94 and the 3 GB RAM + 64 GB model is priced at Rs 7,999 or $107.
