Oppo Find X3 Pro vs Vivo X60 Pro+: Which one is better and why?

The two Chinese companies, Oppo and Vivo, are clashing against each other as they try to attract more customers with their latest smartphones. Oppo has launched Find X3 Pro and Vivo has unveiled Vivo X60 Pro+.

Display

  • Vivo X60 Pro+

The OPPO Find X3 Pro flaunts a 6.7-inch AMOLED QHD+ display and comes with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. Vivo X60 Pro+ sports a 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and comes with the same strong refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Processor

List of Smartphones powered by Snapdragon 870 chipset

Again, we have very limited to separate between the device in this domain. Both are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC which is the strongest Android mobile chipset in the market.

Camera

Vivo X60 Pro+ features a quad-rear camera setup. This includes a 50MP Samsung GN1 Sensor, a 48MP Sony IMX598 sensor, a 32 MP portrait lens, and an 8MP periscope lens. For selfies and video chats, this smartphone offers a 32 MP front camera.

The OPPO Find X3 Pro also has a similar camera module at the back. This features two 50MP Sony IMX766 cameras (one regular and one ultra-wide), a 13MP telephoto camera, and a 3MP macro lens. It has a similar 32 MP selfie snapper.

Also, the cameras of the Vivo X60 Pro+ have been build by Zeiss, a famous German optics manufacturer. This makes it one of the best camera smartphones as it comes with stunning gimbal stabilization 2.0 and periscope lens. More to talk about this in the features section below.

Battery and Fast Charging

The Oppo Find X3 Pro 5G is powered by a 4,500 mAh which is paired with a 65W wired fast charging support. On the other hand, Vivo X60 Pro+ is packed with a smaller 4,200mAh battery cell and is paired with 55W fast-charging support.

Features

The Oppo Find X3 Pro’s camera setup comes with a microscope lens which will improve the quality of close snapshots by showing every minute detail of the subject. As talked about in the camera section, Vivo X60 Pro+’s gimbal stabilization 2.0 makes the smartphone one of the best in the market. In fact, its 30X Zoomed capture is considered even better than that of high-end smartphones of Samsung and iPhone.

Price

Vivo X60 Pro+ 5G also has a single variant of 12 GB + 256 GB storage and is priced at Rs 69,990. The Oppo Find X3 Pro 5G also comes in the same variant and is priced at EUR 1,149 or Rs 99,800.

Our thoughts

There is not much to distinguish between the two Chinese smartphones in terms of display and processor. The battle in the battery domain is won by Oppo’s device but when it comes to the camera, my preference will be Vivo X60 Pro+ due to its supreme quality provided by the German optics company. Also, Oppo is yet to launch this device in India but if it comes around the same price as the European market, then we will surely go with Vivo X60 Pro+ which is way cheaper.
