Dhurandhar: The Revenge Advance Booking Opening Date Confirmed — Ranveer Singh’s Biggest Film Yet Is About to Break Every Record

The wait is almost over. If you’ve been refreshing booking platforms wondering why Dhurandhar: The Revenge full advance sales haven’t opened yet — here’s your answer, and more importantly, here’s when that’s all about to change.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge — Key Box Office Stats

Why Are Full Advances Delayed — And When Do They Open?

Fans have been puzzled about why Ranveer Singh‘s most anticipated film hasn’t opened full-fledged advance booking yet, despite record-smashing preview sales. The reason is a behind-the-scenes dispute between distributors and national multiplex chains over revenue sharing terms — a recurring standoff in Bollywood’s big-ticket releases.

According to exclusive trade sources, both parties are on the verge of a resolution, and full advance sales for the opening day and entire weekend are expected to go live on March 14 — roughly five days before the worldwide release. Once that settlement is done, brace yourself, because that’s when ticket counters across India are going to light up.

What the Numbers Already Look Like

Even before full advances are open, the film’s preview momentum is nothing short of historic. Around 2.5 lakh tickets have already been sold for the Wednesday paid previews alone at the top two national chains, with the team eyeing the 4 lakh mark before opening night. Worldwide, the film has already crossed Rs 50 crore in advances — an extraordinary benchmark. In the United States alone, it has become the fastest Indian pre-seller ever, surpassing USD 2.50 million.

Trade circles are cautioning that since previews are heavily frontloaded on Wednesday, Day 1 pre-sales may appear slightly subdued initially — but given the extraordinary level of public excitement, the film is expected to pull surprising numbers once the floodgates fully open on March 14.

The ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R Madhavan — helmed by Aditya Dhar — has Bollywood on its toes.
