David De Gea’s future at Manchester United is a center of discussion currently.
David De Gea was again dropped against Brighton Hove Albion last night. Dean Henderson kept his place into the side and started for the Red Devils. This arose some serious question about the future of David De Gea.
The Spanish were given leave last month to be with his family as he and his wife were expecting a baby at that time. Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took the opportunity and gave the chance to the English goalkeeper. Dean Henderson played very well in David De Gea’s absence.
After the born of his daughter, De Gea joined with the side immediately. But he didn’t start a single game since then. Many felt whoever started the game against Brighton would be an indicator over who has won the position in the side.
But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer denied all the rumors. Solskjaer said, “I’ve got two great keepers, two No.1s. David De Gea spent a while back home and then he had internationals so he hadn’t played for about a month. He’ll definitely play football for us again.”
Manchester United won against Brighton Hove Albion last night. The Red Devils cameback from 0-1 down to 2-1 up as Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood scored for the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
