Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro to launch with Dimensity 1200 and Snapdragon 870 respectively

From February 2021, we’ve been getting so many leaks regarding the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 series and finally, the reports are coming out saying that the Mi Pad 5 tablet series from Xiaomi is going to launch very soon. This series is said to bring two tablets: Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro. The Pro model is likely to have a display of 11-inch. But both of them will launch in China specifically, no report regarding the global release.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5

The regular Mi Pad 5 will have a 2K IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch-sampling rate of 480 Hz. This device will run MIUI 12 based on Android 11 OS and will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. Despite being a regular model, the Mi Pad 5 will be powered by a pretty powerful MediaTek chipset. So, there will be no compromise in performance this time from Xiaomi.

That’s all we’ve known yet regarding the Mi Pad 5. In the future, we may get more info about its camera and other stuff.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro

This is the Pro or top model in this Mi Pad 5 series. The Mi Pad 5 Pro will offer a 2K IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch-sampling rate of 480 Hz. This device will run MIUI 12 based on Android 11 OS and will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. Both of the tablets will support 5G connectivity.

Xiaomi has not revealed any report regarding the release date of the Mi Pad 5 series, but we can expect it to get launched in the month of April this year or it could get extended to May or even June. Nothing has got confirmed yet.
