Kritika Kamra & Gaurav Kapur Skip the Big Fat Indian Wedding — And Their Speakeasy After-Party on March 12 Is Everything

No 500-guest banquet hall. No over-the-top decor. Just good music, close friends, and a jazz-meets-speakeasy vibe in South Mumbai. Kritika Kamra and Gaurav Kapur are getting married — and honestly, their wedding concept is refreshing everything we thought a celebrity wedding had to be.

The Most Unique Wedding Invite of 2026

Forget glitzy gold-embossed cards. The couple’s after-party invite — which quickly went viral — simply read: “The Party, After. We’d love to celebrate our wedding with you. Easy. Unhurried. Come early. Stay as long as the night allows.” Starnews Korea

That’s not just an invitation. That’s a whole personality statement.

Instead of a traditional wedding reception, Kritika and Gaurav planned “The Party, After” — a late-evening celebration designed as a relaxed, unhurried after-party set in a South Mumbai venue carrying the mood of a jazz night meets speakeasy bar, inviting guests to arrive early and stay as long as the night allows.

The Wedding — Intimate, Personal & Deeply Meaningful

Kritika Kamra and Gaurav Kapur formalised their union in an intimate signing ceremony on March 11, 2026, at Gaurav’s residence in Mumbai — in the presence of immediate family, followed by a private celebration with their closest friends. TikTok

A source close to the couple shared: “Kritika and Gaurav wanted their wedding to feel authentic and personal rather than extravagant. While they deeply value tradition, they also wanted the celebrations to mirror who they are — warm, rooted, elegant, and surrounded by the people who truly matter to them.”

The March 12 festivities brought together stars from both the Bollywood and cricketing fraternities in a warm and elegant gathering. Two very different worlds, one very beautiful evening.

Who Are They? A Quick Recap

Koreaboo Gaurav Kapur, on the other hand, is one of India’s most beloved cricket presenters and talk show hosts, known for his wit and charm both on and off camera.

The couple had largely kept their romance away from the public eye before Kritika went Instagram-official in December 2025, sharing photos from a breakfast date with the simple caption: “Breakfast with.” Wikipedia
