The rapists are arrested, but they fabricate an alibi — claiming their car was stolen and they were at a wedding far from the crime scene. Parima fails to identify them in the identification parade, and even the DNA samples don’t match, leading to the accused being granted bail. What happens next forms the rest of the film.
