Tendulkar Family’s Jamnagar Trip

On Sunday, February 15, the Tendulkar household arrived at Jamnagar airport to begin pre-wedding rituals ahead of the March wedding. The quick Gujarat trip saw groom-to-be Arjun Tendulkar, bride-to-be Saaniya Chandhok, sister Sara Tendulkar, and parents Sachin and Anjali Tendulkar making their way through the airport.

By Monday, the family had wrapped up the initial celebrations and was photographed returning to Mumbai. When paparazzi congratulated Arjun at the airport, he responded with a gracious smile and thank you, prompting his fiancée Saaniya to also turn around and grin at the well-wishers.

The Chandhok family, who will soon become the Tendulkars’ in-laws, were also present for these preliminary festivities, marking the official start of what promises to be one of 2026’s most talked-about celebrity weddings.

Sachin Tendulkar’s Personal Touch

Living up to his reputation for humility and grace, Sachin Tendulkar personally traveled across India delivering wedding invitations to some of the country’s most prominent personalities. The Master Blaster ensured that cricket’s biggest names—including Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, and Yuvraj Singh—received their invites directly from him.

This personal gesture reflects the Tendulkar family’s values and the significance they’re placing on these celebrations, which will unite two of India’s most respected families.

Meet The Bride: Saaniya Chandhok

Saaniya Chandhok isn’t just marrying into cricket royalty—she’s building her own entrepreneurial empire. As the founder of Mr. Paws Pet Spa & Store, she’s carving a niche in India’s booming pet care industry. Already friends with Sara Tendulkar before the engagement, Saaniya comes from impressive business lineage.

Her family manages Baskin-Robbins India and The Brooklyn Creamery, while her grandfather Ravi Ghai serves as Chairman of the Graviss Group, a business empire valued at approximately Rs 1,000 crore. This union represents a perfect blend of sporting excellence and business acumen.
