Cristiano Ronald’s future is in the centre of attention in the last few days as Juventus was knocked out of the Champions League by Porto. Juventus have been the victims of three giant killings in a row. In 2018-19 they lost to Ajax in the quarterfinal. Last season they were beaten by Lyon and this season Porto.
Juventus is also not having a great time in the domestic league as well. They are now 3rd in the table, 10 points behind the leaders’ Inter Milan. After winning 9 straight Serie A titles win this can be the first season when they lose the title.
In this circumstance, Juventus is trying to find a way to get ‘rid’ of the Portuguese talisman. Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes is holding talks with multiple clubs for a potential move in January.
However, he has already confirmed that he is in contact with Real Madrid as well. It becomes more interesting after recent comments from Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos and manager Zinedine Zidane.
Ramos said, “I wouldn’t have let him go because he’s one of the best players in the world and he would have brought us closer to winning.”
“Cris lost, and Real Madrid lost. He’s a decisive player who helped us to win.”- he added.
Whereas Zidane said, “His return could happen.” when he was asked about the potential return of former Real Madrid star.
