Bella Hadid Single Again: The Truth Behind Her Split From Adan Banuelos

The fashion world’s most private romance has quietly ended. Supermodel Bella Hadid and professional equestrian Adan Banuelos have reportedly called it quits after two years together, leaving fans heartbroken and the model focusing on healing and moving forward.

What Went Wrong?

According to sources close to the situation who spoke to Entertainment Tonight, the split wasn’t dramatic but deeply felt. “Bella is doing her best to stay positive and distract herself since their split,” an insider revealed. The source added that she’s been leaning on work commitments and close friendships to navigate this difficult period.

The relationship was notably serious—perhaps more so than Bella Hadid’s previous high-profile romances. Unlike her very public relationships with The Weeknd or Marc Kalman, Bella and Adan kept their love story largely private, sharing only occasional glimpses of their life together on social media.

Their romance blossomed in the horse world, a passion they both shared. Adan Banuelos, a respected name in competitive cutting horse circles, supported Bella at modeling events while she cheered him on at rodeos and competitions. Their shared love for horses and the Western lifestyle seemed like the foundation for something lasting.

Bella’s Journey To Healing

“She is still processing the breakup since it was a very serious relationship,” the insider told ET, emphasizing the depth of their connection. For someone who’s battled Lyme disease publicly and spoken candidly about mental health struggles, this heartbreak adds another layer of personal challenge.

The 28-year-old model isn’t hiding from the pain, though. Instead, she’s channeling energy into her thriving career and surrounding herself with supportive friends who understand what she’s going through. This mature approach to heartbreak shows growth from her earlier, more turbulent relationship experiences.

Looking Back: Bella’s Love Life

Before Adan, Bella’s romantic history read like a Hollywood screenplay. Her on-again, off-again relationship with Canadian singer The Weeknd spanned several years and survived even the awkwardness of him headlining a Victoria’s Secret show she modeled in post-breakup. The chemistry was undeniable, but the timing never quite worked.

Marc Kalman, her boyfriend from 2020 to 2023, represented a more low-key chapter before Adan entered the picture. Each relationship taught Bella something different about love, commitment, and what she needs in a partner.

What made the Adan romance special was its authenticity. Away from the celebrity spotlight, in the honest world of horses and ranches, Bella found someone who appreciated her beyond the runway. That’s what makes this breakup particularly poignant.

As Bella navigates single life once again, fans are rooting for her healing journey. Sometimes the most private loves leave the deepest marks.
