Micromax has officially confirmed the launch of a new smartphone that will launch in India on 19th March and it seems that this time also the company will launch the phone via Flipkart. The launch is scheduled for 12 PM on that day. This time we can see the full image of the smartphone in the Flipkart app and it looks similar to the In 1b that was launch previously along with In Note 1.
The phone has been portrayed as India’s new “Blockbuster”. From the design of it, we can see that it will have a quad rear camera setup housed in a rectangular bump along with a dual-tone flash. There is a rear-mounted physical fingerprint scanner on the phone and this time we can expect a 48MP primary rear camera. This time also Micromax is sticking to stock Android UI. Until now the company has focused on gaming, Display, Camera, and Data and it is fairly possible that it might be a budget device just like the In Note 1.
The IN 1 is expected to have 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a punch hole that will house an 8MP selfie camera. It will have a quad camera setup with a 48MP sensor as we suggested. It will run on MediaTek Helio G80 SoC paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB ROM. The phone will be powered with a 5,000mAh battery but there is no mention of the charging specs.
From the leaks what we can infer is that the company wants IN 1 to be a mix of IN 1b and IN Note 1 handsets. It might be possible that the pricing of this phone is done in between the price range of the other Micromax In series phones.
