Smart TVs are now available all around the globe. This type of television is way more beneficial than the traditional TVs for the consumers. On top of that, in most of cases, smart TVs cost very less. Thanks to the smartphone makers who came to this field and challenges the experienced players.
As the day goes by, smart TVs become smarter. The newcomers are more optimized, capable to handle more applications and more. However, Google has a major contribution, as the smart TVs are running on the Android operating system.
Hope you know Google introduced the latest Android 11 TV OS last year and at present, it’s already started coming to the global market.
TCL is a big brand in the television market. Not only the traditional TVs, but this company is an expert to build smart TVs too. It is currently ready to bring its new smart TV to the global market as well as in India at the same time.
The upcoming smart TV by TLC is marked as P725 and it will run on the latest Android 11 TV OS. For the Indian market, this TV will be the first to come with Android 11 pre-installed. The company didn’t mention much about the specs directly, however, gave us hints of what is coming.
The TCL P725 will have a 4K resolution display panel with the support of HDR, these are confirmed. It could have Google’s new TV UI as the company commented “Newest Experience” on it along with “Big Together” and “Fast Processing”. That means there will be big screen size options for sure and special care will be taken for the processing part. Lastly, consumers can play with the AIoT feature of the TV as well. From the above image, we can assume that the smart TV will also have a webcam built-in for video calls.
If we consider the icons in the featured image are actually the features of the upcoming TV, then users can enjoy the Dolby feature alongside of 5GHz WiFi band support, casting, can play games, and so on.
The launch event is named “Inspiring Connected Living” and is scheduled for 10th March 11:00 AM GMT | 4:30 PM IST. Currently, there is no information about the pricing and availability. But in India, the TV will be available via Amazon only. You can set a reminder for the launch and watch the event live at the scheduled time from the link given below.
