Why the Cast Matters
The cast of Bank Under Siege represents a strategic reunion that Netflix fans will appreciate. Miguel Herrán, who captured hearts as the tech-savvy Río in Money Heist, takes on a dramatically different role in this historical thriller. His co-star María Pedraza, remembered for her portrayal of hostage Allison Parker, returns to navigate another high-stakes crisis situation.
Hovik Keuchkerian completes the Money Heist trio, bringing his commanding screen presence to the ensemble. Director Daniel Calparsoro and production company Brutal Media have assembled this talented group for a story that chronicles the May 23, 1981 Central Bank robbery—an event that challenged Spain’s fragile democracy just three months after a failed coup attempt.
