North West Makes Instagram Debut: What You Need to Know About Kim & Kanye’s Daughter’s New Account

The digital world just got a little more interesting as North West, the 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has officially joined Instagram. Within hours of her debut post on December 20, the young star had already attracted over 400,000 followers, proving that celebrity status truly runs in the family.

The First Post That Broke the Internet

North’s inaugural Instagram post cleverly paid homage to her superstar mother. The image showed her flashing dual peace signs in a dimly lit space adorned with Christmas lights. Sporting a printed Balenciaga T-shirt paired with a mini skirt and boots, with her hair styled in a sleek bun, North kept her caption refreshingly simple with just two words: “First post.”

Her second post arrived the very next day, featuring a more mysterious aesthetic where she covered her face while revealing bright blue hair peeking from beneath a fluffy hat.

Already a Social Media Pro

This isn’t North’s first rodeo in the social media world. She’s been actively co-managing a popular TikTok account called KimandNorth with her mother, where they regularly share dance videos and behind-the-scenes family moments. The account has become a fan favorite for its authentic glimpses into their daily life.

According to Instagram’s official policies, users must be at least 13 years old to create an account independently, which explains why North’s profile explicitly states parental management.

The Kardashian-West Family Dynamic

North is the eldest of four children born to Kim Kardashian, 45, and Kanye West, 48. The former power couple, who separated in 2021 and finalized their divorce in 2022, also share Saint (10), Chicago (7), and Psalm (6). Despite their split, both parents remain actively involved in their children’s lives.

Fashion and Style Evolution

North has been making headlines with her bold fashion choices. In October, she experimented with temporary body modifications including faux face tattoos and a nose piercing. More recently, she’s been spotted with bleached eyebrows and colorful wigs, embracing a unique personal style that sets her apart.

When critics questioned her fashion choices, particularly a dermal-style finger piercing, North confidently responded with a TikTok video that essentially said she’s living life on her own terms. Learn more about celebrity children’s fashion choices at Technosports.

What’s Next for North?

As North continues building her social media presence, fans are eager to see how she’ll carve out her own identity separate from her famous parents. With her creative flair and confident personality already on display, it’s clear she’s ready to make her mark in the digital space.
