Beckham Family Feud Explained: The Truth Behind Brooklyn’s Instagram Block

The Beckham family drama has taken another twist, and this time it’s all about Instagram. Cruz Beckham recently set the record straight about reports claiming his parents unfollowed Brooklyn Beckham—revealing it was actually Brooklyn who blocked the entire family first.

What Actually Happened?

On December 20, Cruz Beckham addressed circulating rumors head-on through Instagram Stories. “NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son. Let’s get the facts right,” he wrote, shutting down reports suggesting David and Victoria Beckham had unfollowed Brooklyn.

The real shocker? Cruz revealed that his parents “woke up blocked” along with him. Currently, Brooklyn isn’t following David, Victoria, or his siblings Romeo, Cruz, and Harper on Instagram. The family also doesn’t follow Brooklyn back.

Adding another layer to the story, Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz Beckham isn’t following any of Brooklyn’s immediate family members either, and they don’t follow her.

When Did the Tension Begin?

This isn’t a new development. According to insiders, issues may have surfaced during Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding in April 2022. A source told People that an awkward moment occurred when singer Marc Anthony, instead of giving the couple their first dance as expected, called out Victoria as “the most beautiful woman in the room.”

The insider described the situation as putting Brooklyn in an uncomfortable position, allegedly leaving Nicola upset enough to leave the room briefly before returning to enjoy the celebration.

Brooklyn’s Response to the Drama

Despite the ongoing speculation, Brooklyn has remained largely silent about family tensions. In a September 2024 interview with the Daily Mail, he focused on his marriage, saying, “People will always be there to dump negativity, but I am lucky to have an extremely supportive wife.”

He added that he and Nicola “keep our heads down and stay out of the spotlight. And we are happy.”

Neither Brooklyn nor his parents have directly addressed Cruz’s recent claims about being blocked.

What This Means for Celebrity Family Dynamics

The Beckham situation highlights how social media has become a battleground for personal relationships—even among high-profile celebrity families. The Instagram follow/unfollow dynamic has evolved into a public declaration of relationship status, making private family matters instantly visible to millions.

For fans who’ve followed the Beckham family’s journey, this development adds complexity to what was once seen as a picture-perfect celebrity dynasty.
