Nothing Phone 3a Community Edition Launches December 9

Nothing Phone 3a Community Edition: Key Details

What Makes Community Edition Special?

Nothing’s Community Edition campaign isn’t just marketing fluff—it’s genuine co-creation. Young creatives from around the globe submit designs across multiple categories, and the winners actually collaborate with Nothing’s team to bring their vision to life on a real product.

This year saw over 700 submissions across expanded categories including:

• Hardware Concept & Packaging Design
• Accessory Design
• Lock Screen Clock & Wallpaper Design
• Marketing Campaign

A Better Creative Process

Unlike last year’s rolling selection process, Nothing refined the timeline for 2025. All winners were announced simultaneously, giving them a focused 9-month creative collaboration with the Nothing team. The four winners even flew to London for hundreds of meetings to perfect their designs.

The result? A phone that truly reflects the community’s vision, not just corporate design choices.

Why This Matters

In an industry dominated by faceless corporations, Nothing stands out by putting creators front and center. The Community Edition proves that tech companies can be ambitious, bold, and genuinely collaborative—while giving emerging talent real opportunities and recognition.
