Card Review: Is Provstgaard Worth It?

At 20,000 coins, Provstgaard is an absolute steal for current-meta defensive standards. His stats profile checks every box for modern center backs:

Key Stats:

• 80 Pace – Fast enough to track speedy attackers
• 85 Defending – Elite tackling and positioning
• 86 Physicality – Dominates aerial duels and physical battles

Elite PlayStyles:

• Anticipate – Improved interception positioning
• Pinged Pass – Accurate long balls to initiate counters
• Slide Tackle – Enhanced sliding tackle effectiveness
• Aerial Fortress – Dominant in headers

This combination makes Provstgaard perfect for Serie A squads or hybrid teams linking Danish/Scandinavian players. His 85 rating also makes him eligible for future Evolutions, potentially upgrading to 87-88+ with boosted pace and defending—turning a 20k investment into a 200k+ meta card.

Pro Tip: Complete this SBC even if you don’t need him immediately. At worst, he’s excellent SBC fodder for future high-rated challenges. At best, he becomes your starting CB for months.

Budget Management Tips

Use Untradeable Fodder First: Check your club for untradeable 82-83 rated cards before buying anything. Many players have dozens of unusable cards perfect for SBCs.

Bid, Don’t Buy Now: Save 10-15% per card by bidding patiently rather than instant-buying. With three squads, this saves 2-3k coins.

Complete During Market Dips: Thursday-Friday mornings (before Weekend League) typically see lower prices as players sell teams for liquid coins.

Check League SBC Duplicates: If you grind League SBCs, you likely have Serie A duplicates that fit Task 1 perfectly.
