Smart Features Meet Large Capacity Design
The Mijia 12kg washing machine fits inside a slim 562mm body while supporting large washing capacity, making it ideal for families needing to wash bulky items like bed sheets, jackets, and denim. Compared to the older 10kg model, the drum is now 40mm deeper, allowing more room for fabrics to move and wash effectively.

Advanced Cleaning Technology
The machine uses 3D dynamic water-flow technology that combines deep penetration, directional flow, and wide-angle splash to remove stains efficiently. It supports high-temperature steam sterilization with claimed 99.999% sterilization, 100% mite removal, and 99.999% virus elimination.
The washer includes intelligent load sensing that adjusts drum speed and water flow based on the weight and type of fabric. A six-axis damping system with magnetic levitation technology minimizes vibration and operational noise.
Notable features include a 95°C drum cleaning mode, 15-minute quick wash, steam deodorization, and specialized programs for wool, silk, sportswear, down jackets, and children’s clothing.
HyperOS Integration and Smart Control
The washing machine supports Xiaomi HyperOS Connect and works with the Mi Home app and XiaoAi voice assistant. Users can control wash cycles remotely, adjust settings, schedule delayed washes, receive reminders, and monitor real-time status from their smartphones.
The appliance also features a “fresh-dry” function that prevents odor if users forget to unload clothes for extended periods.
India Launch Possibility
While currently available only in China through JD.com and online platforms, Xiaomi has previously brought several Mijia appliances to international markets. Given India’s growing smart home segment and Xiaomi’s strong presence in the country, a future launch remains possible.
The company already offers various washing machines in India, and this affordable large-capacity model could appeal to Indian families seeking smart home upgrades. However, no official India launch timeline has been announced yet.
