It seems AMD is all set to launch the RX 6700 series GPUs as an answer to NVIDIA’s RTX 3060 series and even the RTX 3070. Already Gigabyte and ASRock confirmed the existence of these GPUs via their EEC filings and its time for PowerColor.
PowerColor has actually listed a lot of SKUs but that doesn’t mean all of them will actually, considering the worse availability of both AMD and NVIDIA. We see a lot of RX 6700 XT series filing with multiple custom models listed, but eventually the GPUs with highest margins are released.
Various types of models can be guessed from the code names with E/L/LV or WL monikers. As Videocardz says, some popular GPUs like Red Devil and Fighter series can be confirmed even before launch, and as per rumours, AMD is most likely to announce the GPUs next month itself.
When it comes to the RX 6700, only four RX 6700 non-XT models have been listed all of them with 6GB GDDR6 memory. The code ‘3DH’ is supposed to have three DisplayPorts and one HDMI output. Obviously, these new graphics cards will be based on Navi 22 GPU with a 192-bit memory bus.
The AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT GPU will come with a 192-bit bus interface and feature Navi 22 XT GPU with 2560 stream processors or 40 Compute Units. It will offer 1440p gaming while the higher-end Navi 21 products are 4K gaming cards.
