Master ARC Raiders Voice Changer: Your Guide to Tactical Voice Masking

ARC Raiders just leveled up its immersion game. Embark Studios has rolled out a voice changer feature that transforms how you communicate in this PvPvE extraction shooter. Whether you’re trolling enemies in proximity chat or maintaining anonymity, this Raider Voice Selection tool opens creative tactical possibilities.

What Makes ARC Raiders Voice Changer Special?

Unlike external third-party software, this built-in voice modulation system filters your VOIP in real-time. The feature currently sits in BETA with ten distinct voice presets—from deep bass rumbles to metallic robotic tones. It’s designed specifically for the game’s intense extraction shooter mechanics, where communication can make or break your squad.

Step-by-Step Activation Guide

Getting your voice changer running takes less than a minute:

1. Access Settings
Launch ARC Raiders and click Settings from the main menu. You’ll find it immediately visible on the home screen.

2. Navigate to Audio Tab
Select the Audio section from the settings menu. This houses all voice communication controls.

3. Locate Raiders Voice Beta
Scroll down until you spot the Raiders Voice Beta settings section—it’s clearly marked with a BETA tag.

4. Enable for Everyone
Change “Raider Voice Heard By” to “Everyone”. This broadcasts your modified voice through proximity chat, making it audible to both teammates and nearby enemies.

5. Choose Your Voice
Select your preferred preset from the Raiders Voice Selection dropdown. Experiment with different options to find your signature sound.

6. Test in Raid
Start a raid to verify the setting works. Use proximity chat to confirm your voice modulation is active.

Tactical Applications Worth Exploring

Proximity Chat Warfare: Confuse hostile Raiders by sounding like different squad members. This psychological edge can buy precious seconds during firefights.

Squad Roleplay: Coordinate with your team using matching voices for immersive communication during high-stakes extractions.

Privacy Protection: Shield your real voice identity while still enjoying full voice communication benefits—especially valuable for streamers and content creators.

Enemy Deception: In close-quarters scenarios, altered voices make it harder for opponents to track individual players by audio cues alone.

Pro Tips for Maximum Impact

Test Before Raiding: Spend time in the lobby experimenting with each preset. Some voices cut through combat noise better than others.

Match Your Playstyle: Aggressive players might prefer intimidating deep tones, while stealth-focused Raiders benefit from neutral presets that blend in.

Coordinate with Squad: If your entire team uses similar voices, it creates confusion for enemies listening to proximity chat during ambushes.

Consider Audio Quality: The voice changer works best with quality microphones. Budget headsets may introduce additional distortion.

Common Issues and Quick Fixes

Voice not changing? Double-check that “Raider Voice Heard By” is set to “Everyone,” not just squad members. Still having problems? Restart ARC Raiders—BETA features occasionally require a fresh launch.

Teammates can’t hear you? Verify your microphone permissions in Windows or system settings. The voice changer only modifies input that’s already being captured.
