Who are the other players?

Sergio Aguero [Manchester City]

Sergio Aguero joined Manchester City in 2011 from Atletico Madrid for £35m. City won the FA Cup in that season. That was the first-ever silverware for him with his new club.

In 2012, City won the Premier League title by beating QPR 3-2 score on the final day and final minute of the game. It was their first title since 1968. After that, they have won 3 more titles in the last decade.

Robin Van Persie [Manchester United]

Robin Van Persie is a well-known name in the Premier League. He joined Manchester United in 2011 from Arsenal for £22.5m.

In the first season with Manchester United, he finished second in the league. But bounce back again next year and clinch the 20th title for Manchester United in 2012-13 season.

Chris Sutton [Blackburn Rovers]

In 1994, Chris Sutton was linked with Manchester United and Arsenal. But finally, he joined Blackburn Rovers for £5m.

Forming the famous ‘SAS’ partnership with Alan Shearer they have won the title.

Eric Cantona [Manchester United]

Bruno’s impact on Manchester United is often compared with Cantona’s move to Man United from Leeds for £1.2m in November 1992.

Leeds fans were upset about Cantona’s move to the rival club. Many pundits saw the Frenchman as a trouble-stirrer and a bad influence.

Cantona scored only times that season. But he had a magical impact on the club as they won their first league title in 26 years, the beginning of an era of dominance.

Mohammed Salah [Liverpool]

The Egyptian is on his way to become a Liverpool club legend. Salah joined Liverpool in 2017-18 from Roma. Salah scored 44 times in 52 games, including 32 in the Premier League and 11 in the Champions League, though Jurgen Klopp’s team failed to win a trophy. Salah was forced to leave the field in UCL Final. But Liverpool went to win the UCL in the next season.

Bruno Fernandes is yet to win a silverware with Manchester United. Manchester United has lost all Semi-Finals since his joining. But they are a title contender this season.

The impact of the Portuguese is not debatable. But this will be recognized once the Red Devils win their first trophy since UEFA Europa League title in 2017.
