How to Get the Grabber Skin in Fortnite for Free: The Black Phone Horror Collab Guide

Horror fans, rejoice! Fortnite just brought the iconic Grabber from The Black Phone franchise to Chapter 6 Season 4—and this collaboration is legitimately terrifying in the best way. If you want to dominate matches while looking absolutely menacing, here’s exactly how to grab this legendary skin before it vanishes from the Item Shop.

Fortnite Grabber Skin: What’s the Hype?

The Grabber is no ordinary cosmetic. This is a bona fide horror character from the Black Phone movie franchise, now available in Fortnite as part of the Fortnitemares celebration. The outfit includes selectable styles, giving you options for customization. Unlike some limited cosmetics, the Grabber works across Battle Royale, Reload mode, and the Demon Rush horde mode LTM.

What makes this special? It’s a celebrity horror character—the kind of skin that instantly marks you as someone who stays current with pop culture and gaming trends.

Quick Purchase Guide: Your V-Bucks Breakdown

How to Purchase the Grabber Skin

What You Get in the Bundle

The Grabber Outfit + Selectable Styles The main attraction. Multiple style options let you customize your appearance without buying separate skins. This flexibility extends the cosmetic’s value significantly.

Cold Revenge Wrap Gun wrapping that extends the Grabber theme to your weapons. Consistency across cosmetics elevates the entire look.

Availability & Timing: Don’t Miss This

Current Status: The Grabber skin is currently available in the Item Shop under the Fortnitemares section.

Deadline: October 27, 2025, 8 PM Eastern Time

Future Returns: While the skin will leave after this period, it’s NOT exclusive to the season or Fortnitemares event. Epic Games will bring it back in future Item Shop rotations. However, don’t guarantee you’ll see it return soon—horror-themed collaborations often stay seasonal.

Pro Tip: Don’t procrastinate. Limited-time cosmetics create urgency for a reason. If you want the Grabber, grab it this week.

Bundle Value Analysis: Is 2,500 V-Bucks Worth It?

Absolutely. Buying individual items costs 4,100 V-Bucks (1,500 + 800 + 400 + 500 + 500). The bundle saves you 1,600 V-Bucks—that’s 39% savings. If you want even one companion item with the skin, the bundle becomes a no-brainer financially.
