Genshin Impact Understanding Luxurious Chests in Nod-Krai

Before we dive into locations, let’s talk about what makes these chests so special. The Genshin Impact Luna I version introduced the Nod-Krai region, which includes three new areas: Lempo Isle, Hiisi Island, and Paha Isle, featuring 17 Luxurious chests, including ones from the Shrines of Depths.

Luxurious chests are the premium loot containers in Genshin Impact. They typically reward high-quality materials, Primogems, and other valuable items that accelerate your progression. Unlike common chests, many Luxurious chests require completing World Quests, solving puzzles, or conquering challenges.

Lempo Isle Luxurious Chests: A Detailed Breakdown

Lempo Isle is typically the most beginner-friendly area for collecting Luxurious chests. Let’s explore them one by one.

Chest 1: Barrowmoss Barrens Barrier Removal Head to the Barrowmoss Barrens sub-area and remove the barrier blocking the chest. This is one of the simplest challenges—just locate the barrier mechanism and solve the associated puzzle. Perfect for getting comfortable with the island’s mechanics!

Chest 2: Friends of Moleyvalley Quest Start the Friends of Moleyvalley World Quest and follow it to completion. Here’s the cool part: the Weasel Thieves will actually lead you to this Luxurious chest during the quest narrative. You’ll naturally stumble upon this treasure as you progress through the story—talk about efficient exploration!

Chest 3: The Stress of Changing Careers Quest Complete The Stress of Changing Careers World Quest to unlock this chest. World Quests often provide context for why treasure is hidden in specific locations, making the hunt feel rewarding beyond just resource collection.

Chest 4: Time Trial Challenge at Starsand Shoal This one’s more engaging! Head northwest of the Starsand Shoal sub-area to find a small island with a Time Trial challenge. You’ll need to collect 66 Moonlit Particles from three different Moonlanes. The good news? Use fast travel efficiently, and you’ll complete it in minutes!

FAQs

Q1: Do I need to complete World Quests in a specific order to access all Luxurious chests?

A: While not strictly required, completing World Quests in order is highly recommended. Some later quests reference earlier ones, and chest locations are sometimes gated behind narrative progression. The three main quests (Friends of Moleyvalley, The Stress of Changing Careers, and others) unlock sequentially as you explore. If a chest remains locked, try progressing through available quests—you might just be one quest away from access. Always prioritize story completion for maximum treasure availability!

Q2: Can I collect all 17 Luxurious chests in a single play session?

A: Not realistically, no. Most Luxurious chests require completing World Quests and challenges, which span multiple in-game days. The Shrine of Depths chests specifically require collecting Shrine Keys, which are earned through exploration and domain completion. On average, dedicated explorers can collect 3-4 chests per play session depending on quest progress. The good news? There’s no time limit! Take your time exploring TechnoSports’ daily checklist guides to efficiently prioritize which chests to target each session for maximum rewards!
