Huawei refreshed MateBook X Pro with Intel Tiger Lake CPUs

Huawei has refreshed quite a lot of notebooks this year by the CES 2021 event. Recently the manufacture has refreshed the MateBook X Pro. The upgraded MateBook X Pro comes powered by Intel’s Tiger Lake platform, which is a great improvement from the original 10th gen processor of the model.

The MateBook X Pro is the most expensive model of the company in the series, but the power for 10th gen for the expected price was rather disappointing. It is only an assumption that the performance of the machine will increase with the power of Tiger Lake. The new 2021 model will come with either a Core i5-1135G7 or a Core i7-1165G7, along with a choice between four colors.

Tiger Lake processors also bring Iris Xe Graphics G7 GPUs to the MateBook X Pro

The features of the MateBook X Pro:

  • 13.9-inch display
  • 3:2 aspect ratio
  • 3,000 x 2,000 pixels
  • 450 nits of peak brightness
  • 14.6 mm thick and weighs 1.33 kg
  • Up to 1 TB of storage.
  • Up to 16 GB or 32 GB of LPDDR4x RAM running at 4,266 MHz.
  • USB Type-C ports (the laptop doesn’t come with Thunderbolt 4 support though.

The MateBook X Pro 2021 can currently be pre-ordered in China from CNY 8,999 (~US$1,389). Huawei is yet to announce international pricing and availability yet, though.
