5 Tamil & Telugu OTT Titles Worth Clearing Your Weekend For

This week’s South OTT lineup is delivering range: a village comedy, a vigilante drama, a dark filmmaking satire, a memory-loss family story, and a gritty crime thriller. Whatever mood you’re in, there’s something dropping that fits.

Super Subbu brings Sundeep Kishan back in comedy territory as Subramanyam Chillukuri Rao, a well-meaning public awareness officer posted in the fictional village of Maakipur. As he tries to educate the village’s eccentric residents, he stumbles into a string of comic misunderstandings while juggling his ideals against his love life, family, and career. With Mithila Palkar and Brahmanandam rounding out the cast, this one promises light, character-driven humor.

Hangman takes a far darker turn, following Sivayya, a state executioner assigned to hang a notorious criminal. When the case unexpectedly connects to his own son Mukesh, Sivayya starts questioning the very system he’s served. Frustrated by repeat offenders slipping through the cracks, father and son eventually take justice into their own hands, setting up a tense, morally complicated vigilante drama.

Mollywood Times follows Vineeth Madhavan, an aspiring filmmaker from Kuttikkanam chasing his dream of becoming Malayalam cinema’s next great horror director, inspired by M. Night Shyamalan. As he moves from short films to his feature debut, the story digs into creative conflict, industry pressure, and personal setbacks, eventually forcing him to reckon with what ambition actually costs. Naslen leads a cast that includes Vineeth Sreenivasan and a cameo from Basil Joseph.

Gurthukosthunnayi offers a gentler, more emotional watch. The story follows Santhosh, who loses his memory in an accident right before his wedding. As he’s given an unexpected second chance, his family and closest friends step in to help him rediscover who he is by retracing cherished memories and recreating meaningful moments from his past.

Isakapatnam rounds out the list as the week’s biggest action draw, starring Samuthirakani as Naidu, a ruthless kingpin, and Aishwarya Rajesh as his fiercely independent daughter Bharati. As Bharati rebels against her father’s criminal empire, their relationship fractures, while Naidu simultaneously battles a violent power struggle within his own syndicate. A young, idealistic police officer enters the picture hoping to exploit the family rift to bring the entire operation down.
